As winter approaches, bringing with it colder and more dreary weather, energy consumption is set to rise, meaning inflated electricity costs. This causes energy efficiency and energy management to become popular discussion subjects amongst both businesses and consumers throughout the autumn months.

HV MAX: a Combined Solution

Online webinar | Thursday 19th October 2017 | 10:00am – 10:45am

Our final voltage optimisation webinar of 2017 will take place on Thursday 19 October.

This short, informative session will provide guests with insight into the issued caused at source by the High Voltage (HV) infrastructure due to inefficient transformers, including the impact this can have on energy consumption and electricity costs.

Join our industry expert to explore the benefits of replacing an inefficient transformer with a super low-loss amorphous core transformer, as well as the added benefits when integrated with variable voltage optimisation as a combined energy solution.

Driving the Future of Road Vehicles

Online webinar | Wednesday 8th November 2017 | 10:00am – 11:00am

This webinar is designed to be interesting and useful to those looking to discover the exciting opportunities provided by energy storage technology, including how the future of road vehicles in the UK needs to be intertwined with energy storage to make it a viable, sustainable solution.

Guests will gain insight into the vital role energy storage will play in the UK’s future energy goals, including the progression towards a much greater use of electric vehicles (EV), which has recently become a hot topic due to the government’s plan to ban new petrol and diesel vehicle sales from 2040.

Decentralised Energy Network: a Sustainable Future through Energy Storage

Breakfast seminar, Sheffield | Tuesday 5th Dcember 2017 | 08:30am – 10:30am

This event will explore the demand on the UK electricity network as it continues to grow year-on-year, and is predicted to keep growing at a fast rate for the foreseeable future. Because of this, the energy network is struggling to keep up, with supply issues becoming more common and causing a multitude of issues for businesses nationwide who are experiencing more blackouts and brownouts every year. The increase in blackouts and brownouts from 2015 to 2016 was recorded at a staggering 46% growth.

As the UK works towards a much-needed greener future energy landscape, the situation is only exacerbated by announcements such as the government’s 2040 electric vehicle (EV) plan, which will require a heightened and (currently) unrealistic dependence on the National Grid.

Guests will be given insight into the concept of a ‘decentralised energy network’, which utilises integrated energy storage technology to form a microgrid to relieve demand on the network by providing communities with cheaper, more reliable, locally generated energy.
