1) BWS Acquisition
We are excited to announce we have now completed the acquisition of Bromsgrove Winding Services Ltd (BWS) and incorporated them as part of the wider EMSc Global Ltd group of companies. Both Powerstar and BWS share core values and the acquisition will enhance the our portfolio of service and product offerings.
Dr. Alex Mardapittas commented, “This acquisition marks the next step forward in our long-term strategic view. The combined expertise will add extensive capabilities allowing our business to grow and adapt to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
2) Driving the Future of Road Vehicles Webinar on Demand
On the 8th November, Dr Alex Mardapittas delivered an insightful webinar which explored how energy storage is set to play a vital role in contributing to the UK’s energy goals as the UK progresses towards a greener energy network which includes the greater adoption of electric vehicles (EV).
If you were unable to join the webinar and want to learn more, the webinar recording is available to view on-demand for a limited time on our website.
3) Powerstar Makes a Splash in Teesside
We are delighted to reveal our latest case study charitable social enterprise, Tees Active Ltd. The latest savings are for Splash, a leisure facility in central Stockton. Through 2008-2009 the site underwent a refurbishment which doubled the size of the facility to now include a swimming pool with waves and jets, a two-storey Activ8 gym, a large sports hall, and food and drink facilities.
To help Splash Stockton achieve its energy goals, we recommended the installation of a 250kVA Powerstar LITE system with a fixed 20V reduction on the supply.
4) Why Energy Resilience is Important
Centrica recently released ‘The Resilience Report’ which examined and measured the impact of energy-related failures on businesses and explored the possibilities of creating an energy resilient future.
We have highlighted the key findings of the report which directly links business resilience with energy resilience due to the significant ramifications businesses have recently reported experiencing, from loss of revenue to reputational damage and loss of inventory all of which were caused from power failures.
5) Updated VIRTUE Brochure
Due to our commitment to provide our customers and partners with the most up to date information, we are excited to share with you our updated VIRTUE energy storage solutions brochure that contains updated information on our product and the environment in which we operate.
