3) UK Oil & Gas Production: To be Continued?
New research by the University of Edinburgh claims the UK gas and oil industry is entering its last decade of production, but the oil and gas industry disputes the claims.
Oil & Gas UK, a representative body of the UK offshore oil & gas industry, claims that there are up to 20 billion barrels of oil and gas resources still to be recovered on the UK continental shelf. It also states most fields will still be producing in 2030 and some notably large developments could still be producing towards 2050.
4) FREE Grid Contracts Overview
As the UK electricity network comes under ever-increasing pressure to generate more energy, the market is looking towards more innovative ways to ensure continuity of supply. Microgrids that produce, store and share electricity are becoming more popular as a backup to the National Grid.
Powerstar has updated its grid contracts overview document to reflect the changes made in 2017, although we do expect more change to be announced by the National Grid later this year.
5) Savings for Powerstar Italia
Last month, Powerstar Italia completed a short video filmed on-site at the Hotel Syrene in Capri, Italy that highlights both the savings and the client’s experience of Powerstar one year after the initial installation.
The short video, filmed in Italian, shows the hotel owner, Mr Gargiulo, explaining how he could see the savings on his electricity bill.
6) Powerstar South Africa Highlight Savings
