1) Latest VIRTUE solution arrives in Lincoln
The latest VIRTUE energy storage solution was delivered to a client ready for installation over the Easter weekend. The 1MW/1MWh solution was delivered to a world leader in the design and manufacture of bearing technologies.
The client will benefit from the bespoke solution with full Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) capabilities and combined with patented Powerstar voltage optimisation technology for process optimisation.
2) A learned decision in energy savings
University of BristolThe latest Powerstar case study covers a long-ranging project in the education sector. It focusses on the installation of 22 Powerstar LITE’s and subsequent retrofit, after facility upgrades, of 8 Powerstar MAX’s, at the University of Bristol.
As a top 10 UK university that maintains a steadfast commitment to sustainability, sourcing a voltage optimisation solution from a well-known, proven and trusted brand was a logical decision for the University.
3) Decentralised energy seminar
Powerstar held its latest seminar, this time focussing on decentralisation and the future of the energy network, at the Wellcome Collection in London on the 21st March.
The presentations by Powerstar CEO Dr. Alex Mardapittas and our guest speaker Phil Pearson, UK Operations Manager at Energy Pool, were informative, engaging and well received.
The following Q&A session was spirited, leading to interesting discussions on the technologies which will shape the future energy landscape.
