1) Powerstar to speak at All-Energy
On 3 May 2018, Powerstar will be giving two presentations at the UK’s leading low-carbon innovation event, the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference.
The presentations will explore how energy efficiency can enable businesses to achieve their corporate social responsibility targets and also how energy storage is set to shape the future energy landscape.
2) Swimming in the fast lane of energy savings
The latest energy saving case study focuses on the savings achieved for Jesmond Pool, a community managed leisure site in Newcastle upon Tyne, which has operated as a charity since its re-opening in 1992.
After the installation of a bespoke Powerstar LITE voltage optimisation solution to reduce voltage by a fixed amount, Jesmond Pool is now benefiting from significant reductions in energy consumption and costs.
3) Operational stability webinar
On 24 April, Powerstar CEO, Dr. Alex Mardapittas, delivered a webinar named ‘Operational stability: why energy storage is key to maintaining operations and saving costs’.
The webinar explored how operational stability is becoming increasingly crucial as organisations have more and more critical processes due to the rise of big data and increased customer expectations, meaning intense operations exist on an almost continuous basis.
