Welcome to the weekly roundup of Powerstar news, keeping you updated with the latest activities, news, and events.
1) The National Grid’s summer outlook
The National Grid recently published its summer outlook for 2018, and last week Powerstar summarised the key points of what looks to be an interesting summer of energy.
The 2018 summer outlook sees the typical trends of the summer season magnified as the energy transition gathers pace and renewables account for a larger share of the energy mix.
2) Minimise risk, maximise reward
Robert Macklin, Chief Financial Officer at Powerstar, published an article on 04 May discussing how ‘Powerstar as a Service’ allows businesses to implement its market-leading voltage optimisation technology ‘As a Service’. This involves a service contract being agreed between Powerstar and the benefactor, which specifies length of service term and payment structure providing a straightforward, flexible funding option that leaves the client cash positive from day one.
3) Powerstar discusses key topics at All-Energy 2018
Powerstar’s Chief Strategy Officer, Christopher Jackson, delivered two presentations last week at the UK’s leading renewable energy and low-carbon innovation event, the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference.
The presentations addressed energy storage and corporate social responsibility, and both were well received as the event enabled attendees the opportunity to learn how low-carbon energy leaders are managing the energy transition.
