Recently, we published a case study showcasing the results of two Powerstar LITE fixed voltage optimisation solutions delivered to a popular foodstuff retailer in Cyprus, Foodsaver.

Foodsaver CyprusFoodsaver is a chain of food stores launched by ipH Iakovos Photiades Foodstuff Suppliers Ltd. in 2011. The chain sells a variety of value own-label items from eight stores across Cyprus, and is renowned for delivering a range of value products in a convenient and comfortable environment. Because of this, it is important for Foodsaver to make cost savings where ever possible so it can continue to provide its customers with the best value for money, whilst also protecting its corporate social responsibility through a reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions.

This led Foodsaver to install two Powerstar LITE systems within its Latsia and Aglantzia stores, which achieved significant savings to energy consumption, costs, and CO2 emissions for both sites. Due to the success of these installations, Foodsaver ordered a further six Powerstar LITE solutions for its remaining stores with an aim to maximise savings for the group. The project has been fully facilitated by Powerstar’s approved distributor for the region, Powerstar Cyprus.

Commenting on the project, Cheif Commercial Officer Stuart Clegg said: “We look forward to continuing to work with both Powerstar Cyprus and Foodsaver on the remaining installations and are excited to verify the savings results in the near future to confirm the full benefits of the technology for the group.”

Following the results of the original two Powerstar installations, Powerstar has created a short, concise case study video to showcase the full results, as well as the anticipated savings from the remaining six installations, in 2 minutes.
