Welcome to the roundup of Powerstar news, keeping you up to date with the latest activities, news, and events.
1) Seamless sets the standard
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) capabilities are experiencing heightened focus recently as the need to improve energy resilience continues amidst the UK’s transition to a cleaner energy landscape.
In the latest of the Storage Simplified series, Powerstar summarises the advantages of the next generation of UPS capabilities and why a seamless response, which Powerstar VIRTUE can provide, is so valuable.
2) Remote monitoring for optimal operations
With the advent of Industry 4.0, businesses expectations for visibility of systems, assets and processes has grown. However, this demand has not been catered to for all assets such as distribution transformers which remain offline and unconnected.
In response to this, Powerstar has introduced Powerstar SO-LOTM, a super low loss smart transformer with remote monitoring capabilities which provides insight into the performance and operation of critical infrastructure.
3) Work experience students develop at Powerstar
As a company that believes in supporting the local community, Powerstar took pride in welcoming two work experience students from Yewlands Academy to its premises for two weeks.
Richard and Sam explored their interests in manufacturing and IT systems respectively. Both students showed a good level of commitment and work ethic to the experience and were a delight to be around.
