POWERSTAR ROUND-UP ISSUE 56

Welcome to the latest round-up, summarising and showcasing the highlights of the latest news, activities and events of Powerstar and the industry for you.

1) Firming renewables with Powerstar VIRTUE

As sustainability pressures increase as the climate change battle intensifies, consumers are becoming sustainability champions and expect that their favourite companies do the same, with 33% of international consumers now claiming to choose to buy from brands that they believe are doing “environmental good”.

Due to this, companies in the leisure industry in particular, as a result of its reliance on high customer satisfaction, need to show that they care about preserving the environment.

Our latest VIRTUE case study highlights this as a holiday accommodation provider was able to maximise their renewable usage and minimise reliance on the grid through energy storage technology.

2) Industry insights at EMEX 2018

Earlier this week, we showcased Powerstar VIRTUE at the leading industry exhibition, the Energy Management Exhibition (EMEX).

The exhibition was packed with expert industry speakers discussing key technologies and innovations in the energy industry.

This was exemplified by the presentation delivered by Powerstar’s CEO, Dr Alex Mardapittas, on the topic of maximising renewable generation and securing the supply with energy storage, as well as his involvement on the panel discussing battery storage as a solution.

Thank you to all who visited us on stand D34, we hope to see you all again soon!
