Bristol & Clifton Golf Club was established in 1891 and has been continuously upgraded and maintained to ensure the club exceeds the expectations of the modern golfer.
The club also has a well appointed club house which houses luxurious changing facilities, bar, lounge and dining room.
The golf club accepts visitors to it’s facility seven days a week and the earliest tee times are at 8:00am so the Powerstar site survey and installation teams had to ensure they could carry out their duties without compromising the comfort and safety of the visitors and staff.
Following a site evaluation and load analysis, the Powerstar team recorded incoming voltage levels up to 244.1V, with the average voltage delivered at 238.8V.
Due to the high but relatively stable voltage levels, a 56kVA Powerstar LITE voltage optimisation system was recommended, with a voltage reduction of 10V.
SAVINGS AND BENEFITS
The installation of Powerstar LITE has reduced the electricity consumption by 9,008kWh annually which is a 5% reduction. This gives a return on investment of 78.1%.
- Annual consumption savings: 5%
- Return on investment: 78.1%
“We have been greatly impressed by the outcome of the installation and have seen an immediate saving in our power consumption and stability of supply”
Mark Betteridge, Club Manager, Bristol & Clifton Golf Club
