Three Rivers Golf & Country Club offers a range of leisure facilities to the surrounding areas of Cold Norton in Essex.
THE CUSTOMER
Three Rivers lives up to the picturesque title of its name, with the modern establishment overlooking a stunning 36 hole golf course, the views from Three Rivers are really quite exceptional. Alongside the golf course, Three Rivers also plays host to banquets, conferences, a state of the art gym and cater to a broad range of social celebrations and events such as weddings, proms, and christenings.
THE CHALLENGE
Being proud of their picturesque environment, Three Rivers were eager to considerably reduce their carbon footprint by means of prolonging the inner beauty of Cold Norton.
Three Rivers wanted to reduce their impact on the environment by reducing electricity consumption and their carbon emissions.
Powerstar were challenged to improve Three Rivers’ carbon footprint through reduced energy consumption, whilst causing minimal disruption to the usual venue activities.
THE SOLUTION
Powerstar is renowned for their hassle free approach to energy saving. With a dedicated yet non-disruptive approach to determining and even applying the savings through their unique voltage optimisation system, at no time whatsoever was the normal business operations at Three Rivers jeopardised. From site surveys to installation, Powerstar ensured that the facilities and services offered by Three Rivers remained unaffected.
What would be affected however was Three Rivers’ voltage output, which was reduced to accordingly match the electrical needs of their appliances. In turn, the reduced voltage would as requested, improve the clubs carbon footprint, reduce their energy consumption and reduce their electricity spend.
THE BUSINESS BENEFITS
Three Rivers Country Club are experiencing savings of 6.8% since the Powerstar installation took place. The club are on course to be saving 49,783kWh per annum, equating to a £3,498 saving on their electricity bill. 9 months in, Powerstar has saved Three Rivers 26.1 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
