Powerstar have entered the Master Cutlers Challenge

This year we are taking part in the Master Cutlers Challenge in aid of Cavendish Cancer Care and are trying to raise much as possible before the end of September. 

The challenge will raise money for and highlight the work that Cavendish Cancer Care does supporting the whole family. The Challenge asks businesses, organisations and membership groups to grow a £50 seed fund, as much as possible, using any legal or ethical means.

Who is Cavendish Cancer Care?

Established over 25 years ago Cavendish Cancer care aims to improve the quality of life for people living with cancer. They do this by providing vital emotional and physical support to both people living with cancer themselves and their friends and families.

This service is offered completely free of charge to the patient, their carer, and their children, helping them to adjust, cope and improve their quality of life.

Cavendish Cancer Care’s mission is help people in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire adjust to, cope with, and face up to the impact of living with cancer by treating the person and not the illness. They aim to improve their quality of life, enrich their emotional wellbeing, and provide the support they need to deal with the challenges life-threatening and life-limiting illness places on people’s lives.
